The Usher's Ministry goes far beyond opening a door. The purpose of an usher is to represent Christ to all that come to worship at the church. In a sense, they serve as the host of the building in which believers and strangers gather to seek God. This purpose alone expresses the privilege and responsibility that falls to a church usher. The Ministry Leader will organize, coordinate, schedule, and communicate with the various Usher Ministry Teams to ensure the effective coordination of services, distribution of literature, welcoming of service attendees, directing to seating, servicing of guests, and collecting of offerings. This Ministry Leader will provide support to the Pastor that will enable the church to grow warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism.
