This fall (2025), I’ll complete my final teaching internship—part of a master’s degree in teaching English to non-native speakers (MA TESOL)—at a church in Charlotte, NC. I’m looking for housing for those 3 months, which I’m finding challenging. Please pray that God will give me wisdom and direction in finding the right short-term rental. Pray that God would provide an affordable, peaceful one-bedroom apartment in a safe neighborhood, so I can focus on studies and complete the practicum. Pray that the surroundings will be natural, beautiful and healing, and the place will be a blessing for me as I complete this practicum. Thank you.

I’m in the final stretch of my MA TESOL semester and feeling burned out. I hope I’m not sick. Please pray for a second wind—renewed energy, motivation, clarity, and perspective to finish well. Pray for major breakthroughs—that I’ll get over the hump and finish major assignments soon. Pray for God’s blessing, favor, and grace. Pray that I’ll finish this season with excellence, joy, and for the glory of the Lord. Thank you so much!

My request is for healing mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I am a stage 4 cancer patient with a rare cancer called appendicial and peritoneal along with a bile blockage in which I’m currently on TPN. I was hospitalized for 18 days they can’t remove the blockage because it would be life threatening because the blockage is by my liver and there is so much scar tissue located in the area. I’m requesting a prayer request for healing because I know God is in control not man I’m a firm believer that by his stripes I shall be healed even though man says it’s no cure for this type of cancer. I can’t believe what man says because I know what God says is believe and trust in him . I’m asking for prayers from you please I’m not perfect but I’m human I’m a work in progress. Please pray for my only son also because it’s hard on him also . I’m asking for prayers. Thanks so very much.

I have decided to step away from a commitment I’ve taken on and need to communicate this as soon as possible. Please pray for God’s wisdom, grace, and favor as I share this decision. I ask for your prayers that I will be understood and supported by everyone involved, and that this process will be smooth and marked by kindness and good relationships. Pray for an excellent teacher to quickly take my place, to ensure a positive experience for the students. Prayer request for my dear ex husband, Jeff…I’ve been praying for his salvation and waiting on God in hope for the marriage, but I’ve not had any contact from him since Sept 2021 until yesterday. I sent him an email about a business item and he responded quickly and briefly with the account information I needed. I am praising God that he responded, and renewing my prayers for his salvation and for God to give him a new heart and resurrect our marriage and family. Thank you for praying and hoping with me.

My wife does not keep calmed down and is constantly angry and on edge. I pray something changes. I pray I can also control my own anger and reactions.

Father Thank you for this time of prayer, for the opportunity to go before you one more time with a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving. 1am Heavenly Father, let me (us)hear Your voice and be obedient to Your call. Let my heart and spirit say, “Here, I am. Send me.” (Isiah 6:8). For Your word says, Many plans are in the heart of a man, but it’s the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21) Lord, may I surrender myself to Your will. Continue to grow my faith in Your word. I pray for my anxious thoughts…Let me truly be anxious for nothing, resting in Your grace & mercy. I pray this prayer with thanksgiving, hope and confidence in You, Heavenly Father. (For Perseverance) Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for Your mercy. Forgive me for those times when I feel like giving up. Your Word tells me I should “press on toward the goal to win the prize” for which You called me. (Philippians 3:14) But sometimes I get discouraged when I don’t feel like I’m making a difference. I know discouragement is not from You. Every good and perfect gift comes from you, and that includes the ability to persevere. Lord, it seems like I’ve been praying for a long time without an answer. Sometimes I wonder whether or not You hear my prayers. Doubt and frustration make me want to quit when I don’t see a breakthrough in my situation, but You offer hope. As I draw closer to You, You, in turn, draw close to me. (James 4:8) Thank you for this promise. Your Word says You “reward those who earnestly seek You.” (Hebrews 11:6) Because of this I know You are with me, giving me the strength and determination I need to keep moving forward. Help me remember this truth from Scripture when my thoughts take a negative turn. I may not see the fruit of my prayers right now, but You are working. Even when I don’t see it. Lord, the love of Your son Jesus Christ is all I need. Help me remember that, and not get sidetracked with the challenges of this world. Your strength and guidance will help me overcome any obstacle. The desire to share Jesus’ love with others will inspire me to persevere when I’m tempted to quit. Thank you for unfailing love and unending patience as I learn the power of perseverance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My prayer is God to continue to have favor over our lives. Praise Him in low times and praise Him in good times. Allow God to share our gifts amongst those who are in need. Father God, bless UBBC to be the church to open our doors for the broken. All in all, we know that their is nothing our God can not overcome, so let us evangelize with a heart of praise.

I’m praying for GOD’s grace and mercy to continue to abound in the lives of everyone , in spite of our many mistakes and shortcomings. I’m praying for our children to be able to navigate the enticements of this world system and have a true and enduring relationship with the LORD. I’m praying for our UBBC Church family that whatever is occurring in our lives the LORD will continue to bless, guide, and strengthen, our journey. I’m praying that as vessels of the LORD, our light will always shine regardless of life’s challenges in order to illuminate JESUS CHRIST, so that HE will be glorified through the precious life that HE has given each of us.

11PM- God, I thank you for your presence during this prayer time. Continue to have your holy spirit work in me and in others to allow your indescribable greatness to show. Pierce and penetrate our hearts with your holy word that is used for correction and guidance even when we fall short. We thank you for our pastor and wonderful First Lady. Lord, as we wait in anticipation for the great things that YOU will do, continue to give us a heart of praise and thanksgiving. We know there is nothing too big or too small for you. Lastly, we thank you for being our anchor and giving us the gift of salvation. Amen!
